We spent a long weekend in Wimberly, Texas Hill Country and spent a few hours in the Texas State Capital Building, Austin. It was extremely hot but we enjoyed the good food and restful sleeps. The creek next to our cabin. You could almost imagine people bathing here in the 1800s. The water was crystal clear
The oldest building in Fredericksburg, a German settlers town famous for Peach Cobbler, Raspberry Chipotle and Wine. Many of the natives spoke German. The town was spotless and friendly.
It's really amazing to think that old or historical to Americans, is not so old to us!

It was too hot to cozy in front of the fire. We enjoyed reading the cabin guestbook where former guests wrote about their very romantic liaisons! Some were over the top!
